We're working with a growing infrastructure advisory business that partners with government agencies, investors, and private sector clients on some of Australia's most significant transport, social, energy, and precinct development projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Commercial Infrastructure Advisor to join their expanding team.
This is an opportunity to move beyond pure technical delivery and play a key role in the commercial success of major infrastructure investments.
The Role
As a Commercial Infrastructure Advisor, you'll support the planning, procurement, delivery, and optimisation of infrastructure projects across a diverse portfolio of sectors.
Responsibilities include:
- Advising clients on commercial and financial aspects of infrastructure projects
- Supporting business case development, investment analysis, and project strategy
- Assisting with procurement planning, market sounding, and transaction processes
- Developing commercial models and contract packaging strategies
- Supporting contract management, risk allocation, and project governance activities
- Working closely with public and private sector stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Contributing to the successful delivery of major transport, energy, water, and social infrastructure projects
About You
- Degree qualified in Commerce, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Construction Management, Law, or a related discipline
- Experience in infrastructure advisory, management consulting, client-side project advisory, project controls, commercial management, or major project delivery
- Understanding of infrastructure procurement and delivery models including D&C, Alliance, PPP, ECI, and Managing Contractor
- Strong analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience preparing reports, business cases, commercial assessments, or project governance documentation
- Excellent communication and client-facing capabilities
