About the Opportunity

A nationally recognized engineering and infrastructure consulting firm is seeking an experienced Construction Program Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and capital improvement programs throughout Louisiana.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a construction professional who excels at managing large-scale programs, developing client relationships, overseeing project delivery teams, and driving successful outcomes across multiple projects. The role offers significant visibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to influence the development of critical infrastructure that serves communities across the region.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates; however, the selected individual must be willing to relocate to either the Baton Rouge or New Orleans area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee major construction and infrastructure programs from planning through execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, agencies, and key stakeholders.
  • Manage project delivery teams, schedules, budgets, risks, and overall program performance.
  • Develop and implement program management strategies that improve efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Evaluate operational processes and recommend solutions that enhance performance and client satisfaction.
  • Support business development efforts, proposal preparation, and client presentations.
  • Mentor project managers and technical staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and stakeholder teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in construction management, program management, infrastructure, engineering, or consulting.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, complex capital improvement programs or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and client relations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the region.
