Role Overview:
They are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Principal Consultant or Consultancy Manager to lead technical due diligence and advisory services for renewable energy projects. This Brisbane-based role will play a key part in supporting project development and financing, engaging with stakeholders across the public and private sectors, and contributing to strategic growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage technical due diligence for solar, wind, and hybrid energy projects.
- Deliver high-quality assessments, reports, and recommendations to support investment decisions.
- Interface with financial institutions, developers, and EPCs to ensure project bankability and compliance.
- Monitor and interpret local market trends, regulatory developments, and financing structures.
- Support business development activities and client relationship management.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong technical foundation.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical due diligence and advisory for utility-scale projects.
- Familiarity with Australian energy markets and local financing environments.
- Strong network or experience working with banks, DFIs, or financial institutions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related technical field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
