Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 + 10% Bonus
REMOTE: 50%-75% travel dependent on projects (no relocation required)

The Data Center Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for...
- Developing commissioning plans, pre-functional checklists, functional performance tests, and integrated systems testing procedures.
- Leading commissioning activities for generators, UPS systems, switchgear, transformers, transfer switches, and power distribution equipment.
- Reviewing electrical studies, relay settings, testing reports, and commissioning documentation to ensure systems perform as designed.
- Providing technical leadership during testing, troubleshooting complex system issues, and supporting field activities.
- Supporting client presentations, proposals, and business development efforts.
- Mentoring junior staff and helping establish commissioning standards and best practices.
The Data Center Commissioning Engineer should have the following...
- 3+ years of experience in electrical commissioning, critical power systems, acceptance testing, or mission-critical environments.
- Experience developing and authoring functional and integrated systems testing procedures.
- Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems, protective relaying, generators, UPS systems, and switchgear.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Familiarity with NFPA, NETA, IEEE, ANSI, and ASHRAE commissioning guidelines.
- OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain) and a strong commitment to electrical safety.
- Ability to travel approximately 50-75% based on project and testing schedules.
