Electrical Division Manager - Cleveland Ohio

Position Summary

The Division Manager - Electrical Construction is responsible for leading the strategic, operational, and financial performance of the electrical division, with a focus on delivering complex projects in wastewater treatment facilities, data centers, and commercial/industrial environments. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of electrical construction projects, from planning and execution to close-out, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
  • Lead and manage project teams, including project managers, engineers, foremen, and field staff.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across all project phases.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans and growth initiatives for the division.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and participating in proposal development.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, with a strong background in managing projects in wastewater, data centers, and commercial/industrial sectors.
  • Proven leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams and large-scale project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and division-level financials.
