Electrical Engineer
Electrical / Controls Engineer (PE Required)
What they're looking for:
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Active PE license (Washington preferred or ability to obtain)
- 5 to 10+ years in electrical and or controls system design
- Experience in water, wastewater, stormwater, transportation, or similar infrastructure projects preferred
Core technical experience:
- AC power systems design: power distribution, motor controls, load calculations, panel schedules, voltage drop, one-lines
- DC control system design for instrumentation such as flow, pressure, level, and temperature
- Electrical system modeling (Easypower preferred)
- Lighting design and modeling (AGI32 or similar)
- Strong working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and applicable state or local codes
- Ability to read and develop relay logic and wiring diagrams
- AutoCAD for electrical drawings
What you'll be doing:
- Design electrical and control systems for municipal, industrial, and commercial projects
- Develop calculations, reports, and technical documentation
- Produce construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Support project execution including scheduling and budget tracking
- Contribute to proposals and client development efforts
- Participate in peer reviews and help improve internal standards

- Strong writing and documentation skills (Word, Excel)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple projects
- Team-oriented and interested in long-term development
