A respected general contractor in the Seattle area is seeking a skilled Heavy Civil Project Manager/Estimator to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a construction professional with strong leadership and estimating capabilities to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of heavy civil construction projects.
- Develop accurate cost estimates and competitive bid proposals.
- Collaborate with engineers, clients, and field teams to ensure project success.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and performance metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits and manage subcontractor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction project management and estimating.
- Background in projects such as highways, bridges, utilities, earthwork, and site development.
- Experience with public works and DOT projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction scheduling, cost control, and field operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., HCSS, HeavyBid) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
