Land Survey Project Manager

They are seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor to help grow their surveying and geospatial team. This role involves taking on leadership responsibilities and managing a wide range of projects, including boundary, ALTA/NSPS, and topographic surveys, construction layout, subdivision work, reality capture, GIS tasks, and other geospatial assignments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate surveying and geospatial projects
- Lead and support field crews to ensure accuracy and quality
- Collaborate with office staff handling data processing and analysis
- Apply modern surveying technologies to solve project challenges
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Serve as the main point of contact throughout project lifecycles
- Preparedeliverables such as:
- Legal and boundary descriptions
- Boundary determinations
- Proposal cost estimates
- Conduct field and site visits as required
Qualifications
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Missouri
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in land surveying
- Strong communication and client‑facing skills
- Ability to mentor and guide team members
- Self‑motivated, collaborative, and committed to growth
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with Civil3D preferred
