Lead Control Systems Specialist (DeltaV) | Houston Area
A growing industrial automation and systems integration firm is seeking an experienced Control Systems Specialist with strong Emerson DeltaV expertise to support projects across the chemical and process industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement DCS control systems
- Develop control strategies, system architecture, and functional specifications
- Configure DeltaV logic, graphics, and operator interfaces
- Support project delivery from design through commissioning
- Work closely with project managers and clients to ensure successful execution
- Maintain high-quality technical and project standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of hands-on Emerson DeltaV configuration experience
- Strong knowledge of DCS systems, process controls, and plant automation
- Experience supporting projects within chemical, petrochemical, or process manufacturing environments
- Ability to work independently and lead technical project activities
Preferred Experience
- DeltaV Batch configuration
- DeltaV Live graphics development
- Experience with SIS, PLC, HMI, or other DCS platforms
- FEL/FEED and EPC project experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
