About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in water treatment engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, planning, and implementation of water treatment systems, and will play a key role in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for municipal and industrial clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support design and engineering for water treatment facilities, including conventional and advanced treatment processes.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and drawings.
  • Perform process modeling, hydraulic analysis, and feasibility studies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Assist in construction administration, including submittal reviews, RFIs, and site inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
  • Support project management activities, including scheduling, cost control, and client communication.
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives, such as digital tools and sustainability strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.S. in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (M.S. preferred).
  • Experience: 5-10 years in water treatment engineering, including design and project delivery.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Familiarity with water treatment technologies (filtration, disinfection, advanced treatment).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM tools, and hydraulic modeling software.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with alternative project delivery methods (Design-Build, CMAR).
  • Knowledge of digital water solutions and resilience planning.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.
