Senior Civil / Water Infrastructure Engineer (PE)

A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer (PE) to join its infrastructure team. This individual will play a key role in delivering municipal and utility-related projects while supporting project management, client engagement, and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support engineering studies related to utility and infrastructure systems.
Analyze technical data and develop recommendations for system improvements and rehabilitation projects.
Assist with field investigation programs and coordination of data collection activities.
Prepare technical reports, specifications, cost estimates, and bid documents.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal project teams.
Support quality control efforts and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
Participate in client relationship management and business development activities.

Desired Background

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Approximately 5-10+ years of consulting engineering experience.
Experience working on municipal infrastructure, utility, water, wastewater, or public works projects.
Familiarity with engineering analysis, infrastructure planning, and project delivery.
Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
Experience managing projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
