Project Manager - Water & Wastewater

We are currently working with a growing water and wastewater treatment company who are looking for a technically strong and results-driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of water treatment projects, with a focus on reverse osmosis (RO), potable water systems, and CAD-based design coordination. This role is ideal for an engineering professional with hands-on experience in commissioning, who is ready to take ownership of complex projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, and schedules, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide technical input and review for RO and potable water treatment systems.
  • Oversee CAD design processes and ensure alignment with engineering standards and client requirements.
  • Lead or support commissioning activities, ensuring systems meet performance and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Prepare and present project updates, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

About You

  • Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related discipline).
  • Proven experience in managing water treatment projects, particularly involving RO and potable water systems.
  • Strong understanding of CAD tools and design coordination.
  • Hands-on experience in engineering and commissioning of water treatment systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
