A growing environmental and industrial hygiene consulting firm is seeking a Senior Industrial Hygienist to play a key role in expanding its client base, leading complex projects, and mentoring technical staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven seller-doer looking to leverage existing client relationships while leading a diverse portfolio of industrial hygiene, environmental health, and occupational safety projects. Responsibilities
- Lead industrial hygiene and environmental health projects from proposal through completion
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across industrial, commercial, institutional, and public-sector markets
- Develop and maintain client relationships that generate new and repeat business
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
- Conduct and oversee exposure assessments, air monitoring, and industrial hygiene evaluations
- Manage asbestos, lead, mold, and indoor air quality projects
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project deliverables
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, and quality control
- Mentor and develop junior industrial hygienists and project staff
- Support the growth and strategic direction of the industrial hygiene practice
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field
- 10+ years of industrial hygiene consulting experience
- Proven success managing clients and generating business opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to bring existing client relationships and industry contacts
- Strong background in industrial hygiene assessments, exposure monitoring, and regulatory compliance
- Experience managing project teams and mentoring staff
- Excellent communication, business development, and relationship-building skills
- CIH, CSP, or other relevant certifications preferred
- Asbestos and lead credentials are a plus
