Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager / Construction Manager will lead projects from preconstruction through closeout while serving as the primary point of contact for owners, consultants, contractors, and key project stakeholders. This individual will be responsible for ensuring successful project execution, maintaining schedule and budget objectives, overseeing quality standards, and driving overall project success.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall project leadership from project inception through final completion.
- Serve as the primary contact for owners, stakeholders, consultants, and construction partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships while delivering exceptional service and responsiveness.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams through planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout phases.
- Collaborate closely with field leadership and superintendents to oversee construction activities and project execution.
- Develop and manage master project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and cost-control efforts.
- Monitor project performance to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Lead the administration of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and overall construction documentation.
- Facilitate owner, contractor, consultant, and project team meetings while maintaining clear project communication and reporting.
- Identify and proactively resolve schedule, cost, constructability, and coordination challenges.
- Review contractor pay applications and manage project financial performance.
- Support preconstruction efforts including cost estimating, budgeting, procurement planning, and value engineering.
- Participate in business development activities including proposal preparation, presentations, networking, and relationship building.
- Assist with the continuous improvement of project delivery processes and operational procedures.
- Contribute to strategic growth initiatives and help expand the firm's construction management capabilities throughout the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 10-15+ years of experience leading commercial, institutional, infrastructure, or building construction projects.
- Experience working within construction management, design-build, architecture, engineering, or integrated project delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost management, procurement, and field operations.
- Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction estimating software.
- PMP, PE, RA, CCM, or similar professional certifications are considered a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally with occasional regional travel.
