Senior Site Development Project Manager
Build More Than Projects. Help Shape a Practice.
An established, employee-owned engineering firm with a century-long reputation across the Mid-Atlantic is continuing to invest in the growth of its Site Development and Land Development practice.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than another project management role.
We're seeking a proven land development leader who enjoys building client relationships, mentoring engineers, growing teams, and helping shape the future direction of a practice supported by significant technical resources, a strong backlog, and a highly collaborative multidisciplinary platform.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Many firms can offer project work.
Few can offer the combination of:
- Employee ownership and long-term wealth creation
- A diverse and stable backlog across multiple markets
- Strong brand recognition throughout the Mid-Atlantic
- Access to transportation, water resources, utility, environmental, and construction specialists under one roof
- Significant leadership visibility
- The ability to influence growth strategy, not just execute projects
This is a platform where senior professionals can make a visible impact on both projects and the future of the business.
What You'll Do
- Lead complex site development and land development projects from concept through completion
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and overall delivery
- Build and strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and project staff
- Participate in strategic planning and growth initiatives
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across transportation, environmental, utility, and water resource disciplines
- Support proposal development and business development activities
- Represent the company at client meetings, agency meetings, and industry events
- Provide leadership during permitting, approvals, and construction administration efforts
What Makes This Platform Different?
Diverse Project Portfolio
Unlike firms heavily dependent on a single market sector, this organization maintains a balanced portfolio across:
- Site Development
- Transportation
- Water Resources
- Environmental Services
- Utilities
- Structures
- Construction Management
This creates long-term stability and consistent opportunities for growth regardless of market conditions.
Employee Ownership
Senior leaders have the opportunity to contribute to and benefit from the long-term success of the business through an ownership-driven culture focused on:
- Leadership development
- Long-term career growth
- Business influence
- Financial participation
- Employee retention
Collaborative Culture
Rather than operating in isolated departments, teams work closely across disciplines to provide complete project solutions, creating a highly collaborative environment and minimizing dependence on outside consultants.
