Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Sales Specialist to drive HVAC service and maintenance sales in the Raleigh, NC market. This role is responsible for developing new business, maintaining client relationships, and promoting preventive maintenance agreements, repair services, and retrofit solutions to commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and close new HVAC service and maintenance opportunities within the Raleigh area
Sell preventative maintenance agreements, service contracts, and repair/retrofit solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with building owners, property managers, and facility managers
Conduct site assessments to evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate HVAC service solutions
Prepare proposals, pricing, and service agreements tailored to client requirements
Collaborate with service managers and technicians to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction
Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity using CRM tools
Stay informed on local market trends, competitor offerings, and HVAC technologies
Participate in networking events, trade groups, and industry associations to generate leads
Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in HVAC service sales or related mechanical services sales
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, maintenance programs, and service operations
Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and build long-term client relationships
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or similar) and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Raleigh/Durham or broader Triangle market
Existing relationships with local property managers, facility managers, or commercial clients
Technical background in HVAC (field experience or technical training a plus)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
