Overview:
My client, a well-established and respected engineering firm with over a century of excellence, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Baltimore, MD. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the design and construction of complex building systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities-including mission-critical and sustainable buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of building types.
- Collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and sub-consultants.
- Prepare fee proposals, manage project budgets, and oversee project execution.
- Mentor and guide junior engineering staff.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland.
- 16+ years of progressive experience, including leadership roles.
- Proficiency in ETAP or SKM, and experience with Revit.
- Strong background in lighting and power systems design for government, military, commercial, and institutional projects.
- LEED BD+C certification preferred.
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance may be necessary.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
