We're working with a well-established engineering consultancy that is continuing to grow its presence in North Queensland and is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join its Townsville team. This is an opportunity to take a lead role on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure, resources, industrial and commercial projects while helping shape the future of the local structural capability.
The Role
- Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Work directly with clients, stakeholders and project teams across a variety of sectors.
- Conduct structural assessments, inspections and investigations.
- Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the Townsville office.
About You
- Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 8+ years of structural engineering experience within a consulting environment.
- Strong design experience across buildings, infrastructure, resources, industrial or heavy civil projects.
- Client-facing with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- RPEQ or working towards registration preferred.
