Role Overview
Seeking a skilled Automation & Controls Engineer to design, implement, and maintain industrial control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS) and support real-time data solutions. This hybrid role combines automation engineering with industrial data integration to optimize operations across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
Automation:
- Design and troubleshoot control systems based on P&IDs.
- Program and maintain PLC, HMI, and DCS applications.
- Perform routine updates, testing, and debugging.
- Document specifications and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Data Integration:
- Configure and maintain data historian systems.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics for operational insights.
- Support predictive maintenance and advanced use cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical, Control Systems, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in automation and controls.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.).
- Familiarity with industrial networking and data historians.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred: ISA certifications, ABB DCS experience, virtualization knowledge.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Must meet safety and compliance standards.
- TWIC card eligibility and valid driver's license required.
