Bridge Engineer
My client, a well-established civil engineering firm with over 25 years of experience, is seeking a Structural/Bridge Engineer to join their expanding Bridge Department. This position offers the opportunity to work on significant transportation projects for state DOTs and other agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural calculations and prepare plans/specifications from preliminary design through final PS&E documents.
- Collaborate effectively within a professional design team.
- Deliver high-quality work for State DOT projects (MoDOT and/or IDOT experience preferred).
Requirements:
- Missouri PE license (required); Illinois SE or PE (beneficial).
- 5-15 years of structural design experience with a focus on bridges.
- Proficiency in LEAP Bridge Concrete CONNECT, LPile, MicroStation V8i, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting salary: $120,000-$180,000, with potential for additional compensation depending on qualifications.
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with 100% match on the first 4%.
- Paid extra hours beyond 40 per week.
