About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Building Automation Technician to join our Client in Dallas. This role focuses on installing, programming, and commissioning Siemens Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems for new construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with building automation systems and a strong understanding of HVAC controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission Siemens DDC systems for new construction projects.
- Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
- Perform system integration and ensure proper communication between devices and networks.
- Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of control systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to meet project timelines.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and local building codes.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in building automation or HVAC controls, preferably with Siemens systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Siemens DDC programming and commissioning.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and networking protocols (BACnet, Modbus).
- Education: Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and control drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

- Siemens certifications in building automation systems.
- Experience with new construction projects and large-scale installations.
