A growing contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to support bidding on concrete, utility, earthwork, and bridge projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong construction background, and candidates with Project Manager experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates for concrete, utilities, earthwork, and bridge projects
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop cost estimates
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Support bid strategy and collaborate with project teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in estimating or project management
- Background in concrete, utilities, earthwork, or bridge construction
- Project Manager experience is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
