Civil Engineer - Senior Project Manager

Description
An established consulting engineering firm is seeking an experienced professional engineer with project management experience in municipal infrastructure design. The firm specializes in water, wastewater, site development, solid waste, and environmental engineering, with a primary focus on municipal infrastructure. In this role, you will be an integral team member responsible for project execution, client development, and supporting pursuit efforts for municipal infrastructure projects.


Responsibilities

  • Managing the planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure such as water and wastewater treatment facilities, stormwater systems, distribution and collection networks, and pumping/lift stations.
  • Preparing proposals, reports, technical specifications, contract documents, and professional correspondence.
  • Coordinating and communicating with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure project schedules and budgets are met.
  • Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior-level staff.

Qualifications

  • Professional engineering registration (P.E.) in Ohio is required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience, including both design and construction-phase services.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, regulators, team members, and support staff.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid authorization to work in the United States.
