Senior Project Manager - Civil Engineering
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects from concept through completion. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering impactful infrastructure and land development projects that shape communities and enhance quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex civil engineering projects including site development, municipal infrastructure, and public works.
- Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control from proposal through construction.
- Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project engineers and junior staff.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Support business development efforts through proposal preparation, client presentations, and participation in industry events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE license required.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years in a project management role.
- Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar platforms.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with municipal clients, land development, or water/wastewater infrastructure.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and low-impact development (LID) strategies.
- Business development experience and a strong professional network in the region.
