Overview:
Our client, a leading player in the mission-critical infrastructure space, is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Specialist to support data center projects across North America. This is a fully remote role with significant travel to project sites, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge facilities and ensure top-tier performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute commissioning activities for electrical and mechanical systems in hyperscale and enterprise data centers.
- Develop and review commissioning plans, scripts, and schedules.
- Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and validation of systems including HVAC, UPS, generators, switchgear, and BMS.
- Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Document commissioning results and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data center commissioning or related MEP systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in mission-critical environments.
- Ability to travel up to 75% across the U.S.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with commissioning software and tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
