Commissioning Manager
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage commissioning activities for automation projects, focusing on PLC and SCADA systems.
Develop and execute commissioning plans, schedules, and documentation in alignment with project requirements.
Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (controls engineers, electrical engineers, process engineers, technicians).
Validate PLC logic, SCADA graphics, and system functionality during FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and communication protocols.
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth handover and operator training.
Prepare commissioning reports, punch lists, and system performance documentation.
Drive continuous improvement in commissioning processes and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field (Master's preferred).
8+ years of experience in industrial automation, with at least 3 years in commissioning leadership roles.
Strong hands-on expertise with PLC platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, etc.).
Proficiency in SCADA systems (FactoryTalk, Wonderware, Ignition, GE iFIX, OSI PI).
Solid understanding of communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
