Construction Manager

The Role

This is a high-impact, client-facing position where you'll sit at the center of major data center builds-coordinating contractors, engineers, and stakeholders while ensuring schedule, cost, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved.

You'll operate with a high level of autonomy, driving project performance while acting as a trusted extension of the client team.


Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the owner's representative across the full project lifecycle
  • Lead project meetings, coordinate stakeholders, and drive issue resolution
  • Oversee budget, schedule, risk, and change management
  • Support procurement, bid evaluation, and contract administration

Construction & Field Oversight

  • Monitor site activity to ensure alignment with drawings, specs, and standards
  • Track RFIs, submittals, and commissioning progress
  • Maintain risk and issue logs; ensure timely project closeout
  • Enforce quality, safety, and maintainability standards

Reporting & Client Engagement

  • Provide clear updates on project progress, risks, and priorities
  • Deliver owner-facing reports, KPIs, and dashboards
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships

Technology & Continuous Improvement

  • Utilize digital tools and AI-driven workflows to improve efficiency
  • Identify process improvements and support innovation initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of relevant construction/project management experience
  • Background in data centers, mission-critical, or complex infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Commissioning (electrical, mechanical, controls)
    • MOP processes and mission-critical operations
    • Construction methodologies, scheduling, and cost control
  • Experience with tools such as Procore and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills-able to engage both technical & non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
    OR
  • Technical hands-on experience (mechanical/electrical systems) + relevant project experience
