QA/QC Manager - Data Center Construction
Location: Barstow, Texas (Traveling Role)
Salary: $160,000 - $175,000 + Per Diem + Full Benefits
Overview
A leading General Contractor with a strong multi-state presence is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to support large-scale data center construction projects across Texas.
This is a high-impact, site-focused role requiring frequent travel, where you will be responsible for managing and executing quality assurance and quality control processes across mission-critical builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all QA/QC inspection activities across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes
- Perform daily site inspections and system walkdowns, identifying deficiencies and driving corrective actions
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications, codes, and client requirements
- Manage and maintain all quality documentation, including ITPs, inspection reports, and turnover packages
- Coordinate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to uphold quality standards
- Oversee commissioning readiness and system turnover, ensuring projects are delivered defect-free
- Conduct audits, track non-conformance issues, and implement root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support QA/QC planning, including development and execution of quality management programmes
- Lead and mentor field QA/QC staff and ensure alignment across multiple project sites
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Manager on data center or mission-critical construction projects
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning, and inspection processes
- Experience working on large-scale, fast-paced construction projects ($100M+ preferred)
- Ability to manage high volumes of inspections, reporting, and documentation control
- Familiarity with platforms such as Procore, BIM360, or similar QA/QC tracking systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders

- Hands-on, field-oriented professional comfortable with regular travel to site
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality outcomes under demanding project timelines
- Experience working on hyperscale or enterprise data center developments
