Electrical Engineer - Building Systems Design (Remote Option Available)
A growing engineering design firm with offices in Atlanta and Orlando is seeking a mid- to senior-level Electrical Engineer to join their Atlanta team. This role focuses on electrical systems design for commercial and institutional buildings, with an emphasis on quality, collaboration, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and controls.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, architects, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and team reviews.
- Support project delivery from concept through construction.
- Contribute to a culture of technical excellence and team integrity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3-8 years of experience in electrical building systems design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HVAC coordination and MEP design.
- Familiarity with building codes and standards.
- PE license is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive mindset.
