Summary

An established environmental consulting firm in the Southeast is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Charlotte office. This role oversees operations, drives business growth, and provides technical leadership across environmental assessment and remediation services. Ideal for a licensed PE or PG who thrives in team‑oriented, growth‑focused environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee branch operations, including administrative leadership and P&L management.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop a high‑performing technical team.
  • Lead business development efforts to expand services with existing and new clients.
  • Support strategic planning to grow market share in industrial and municipal sectors.
  • Provide technical oversight on environmental assessment, vapor mitigation, methane/radon systems, and brownfield program projects.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Licensed Geologist (LG) in North Carolina (required).
  • 7+ years of experience in environmental consulting, engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience with vapor mitigation, soil/groundwater assessment, and remediation technologies.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulatory programs (brownfields/voluntary cleanup, UST, hazardous waste).
  • Familiarity with standard project management platforms (e.g., Deltek, Microsoft).
  • Strong communication, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
