Estimator - General Contractor
Location: Kelso, WA
Salary: $120,000- $160,000 + Bonus(s)

A respected General Contractor in the Kelso, WA area is looking to add a skilled Estimator to their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on diverse construction projects.

What You'll Do:

• Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects from concept through final bid.
• Review plans, specifications, and related documents to determine scope and pricing.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and bid strategy sessions.
• Maintain historical cost data and update estimating tools.

Experience Needed:

• 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably with a General Contractor.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Experience with commercial, residential, or civil projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with Washington state building codes and permitting processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Bluebeam, PlanSwift).
• Excellent math, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
