Facilities Head (Water/Wastewater)

We are seeking an experienced Water & Wastewater Facilities Team Lead to join our Houston, Texas office. The ideal candidate will have 15 or more years of experience in planning, designing, and managing municipal water and wastewater treatment projects. In this role, you will lead the Facilities Team in securing and delivering projects, including water and wastewater treatment plant expansions, process improvements, pump stations, and lift stations. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and strengthening client relationships to expand my client's market presence. This position reports directly to the Water Business Practice Lead/Vice President.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning and business development for the team
- Oversee feasibility studies, design, and construction administration
- Manage hiring, mentoring, and project assignments
- Ensure quality control, budget adherence, and schedule compliance
- Serve as technical lead and project manager for complex deliverables
- Build relationships with regulatory authorities and public agencies
- Review proposals and contracts for scope, fee, and quality
Requirements:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- 15+ years of experience in water/wastewater treatment and facilities engineering
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale municipal projects
- Strong communication and team management skills
