Job Title: Field Service Technician - Water Treatment (Northeast Region)
Location: Based in the Northeast U.S. (e.g., MA, CT, NY, NJ, RI, NH, ME, or VT)
Travel: Frequent travel within the Northeast region
Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to support water treatment systems across the Northeast United States. This role involves hands-on work at customer sites, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for a variety of water treatment and process systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and Commission Systems: Set up and start up water treatment equipment such as filtration systems, softeners, reverse osmosis units, and chemical feed systems.
- Perform Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine and emergency service on mechanical, electrical, and chemical components of water treatment systems.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Customer Interaction: Provide on-site training and support to customers, ensuring they understand system operation and maintenance procedures.
- Documentation: Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and inventory records accurately and on time.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in field service, maintenance, or installation of water treatment or industrial systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with pumps, valves, piping, and control systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the Northeast region.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
