Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for heavy civil construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within quality standards.
• Coordinate crews, equipment, and materials to maintain efficient workflow and productivity.
• Interpret plans and specifications, providing guidance to field teams and resolving on-site issues.
• Monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers and Superintendents regarding schedules, manpower needs, and project updates.
• Assist in planning and sequencing work activities to optimize resources and minimize delays.
• Support training and development of crew members to promote skill growth and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a strong background in field supervision.
• Knowledge of sitework, utilities, earthwork, and concrete operations.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate crews in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
