Position Overview
This opportunity is ideal for a Geotechnical Engineer who is ready to take the next step toward senior project leadership.
You will play a highly visible role managing geotechnical projects, leading investigations, performing engineering analysis, coordinating with clients, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting the successful delivery of technically challenging projects.
The position combines hands-on engineering, project management, client interaction, and leadership development, creating an exceptional platform for long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical projects from proposal through construction.
- Perform geotechnical analyses and engineering design for a variety of project types.
- Design and evaluate deep foundation systems, underpinning solutions, and excavation support systems.
- Oversee field investigations, subsurface exploration programs, and construction observation activities.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, recommendations, proposals, and construction documents.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, financial performance, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical development across the team.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen existing client relationships.
- Maintain the highest standards of technical quality and project execution.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- PE license required.
- Master's Degree with Geotechnical emphasis preferred.
- 6+ years of geotechnical consulting experience.
- Experience with geotechnical investigations and construction observation.
- Strong understanding of deep foundations, earth retention, excavation support, and ground improvement.
- Experience managing projects, schedules, budgets, and client communications.
- Strong technical writing and report preparation skills.
- Proven ability to mentor and support junior staff.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
