Job Title: Geotechnical Services Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA

Direct Reports : 5 junior geotechnical engineers (2-5 years' experience)

Role Summary:

They are seeking a dynamic Geotechnical Services Manager to lead and grow their geotechnical team in Atlanta. This role involves managing projects, mentoring junior engineers, engaging with clients, and collaborating across service lines. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of geotechnical engineers.
  • Oversee geotechnical investigations and project delivery.
  • Collaborate with environmental and materials testing groups.
  • Engage with clients and support business development.
  • Manage local market projects and pursue new opportunities.
  • Contribute to strategic direction and growth of the office.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
  • PE license or ability to obtain one (Georgia licensure preferred).
  • Proven management and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and client engagement abilities.
  • Experience managing projects and mentoring junior staff.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $100K+
  • Bonus Potential: Performance-based bonuses available.
  • Car Allowance: Fleet vehicles provided for travel between office and job sites.
