Healthcare Project Architect/Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Architect / Project Manager to lead innovative, impactful healthcare projects in the Spokane area. About the Role
As a Healthcare Project Architect/Project Manager, you will guide projects from concept through construction, ensuring design excellence, technical quality, and seamless project delivery. You'll collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams while mentoring junior staff and contributing to our firm's strategic growth in the healthcare market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, and execution of healthcare projects of varying scales.
- Serve as primary client liaison, ensuring strong relationships, clear communication, and successful outcomes.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and resources.
- Oversee production of drawings, technical documents, and specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and healthcare stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship to project teams and support professional development.
- Participate in business development efforts and proposal preparation as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional architectural experience, with demonstrated leadership in project delivery.
- 5+ years of experience on healthcare architecture projects (acute care, outpatient, specialty clinics, behavioral health, etc.).
- Active, current architectural license (U.S. jurisdiction).
- Strong knowledge of healthcare codes, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency with Revit/BIM workflows and related design tools.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- LEED AP, EDAC, or similar certification.
- Experience with integrated project delivery (IPD) or lean design processes.
- Prior experience in the Pacific Northwest healthcare market.
