About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Heavy Civil and Marine Superintendent to oversee complex infrastructure and marine construction projects across Florida. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in heavy civil construction, marine operations, and field leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily field operations for heavy civil and marine construction projects including bridges, piers, bulkheads, dredging, and shoreline stabilization.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients.
- Troubleshoot field issues and implement proactive solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in heavy civil and marine construction.
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of marine equipment, pile driving, cofferdams, and concrete work.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- OSHA certification and strong commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site throughout Florida.
Preferred:
- Experience with DOT projects and coastal permitting.
- NCCCO or other relevant certifications.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
