Job Title: Heavy Civil and Marine Superintendent
Location: Florida (Statewide Projects)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Heavy Civil and Marine Superintendent to oversee complex infrastructure and marine construction projects across Florida. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in heavy civil construction, marine operations, and field leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily field operations for heavy civil and marine construction projects including bridges, piers, bulkheads, dredging, and shoreline stabilization.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and implement proactive solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in heavy civil and marine construction.
  • Proven leadership in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of marine equipment, pile driving, cofferdams, and concrete work.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • OSHA certification and strong commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site throughout Florida.

Preferred:

  • Experience with DOT projects and coastal permitting.
  • NCCCO or other relevant certifications.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
