HVAC Controls Programmer
Role Summary
An established building automation organisation is seeking an experienced BAS Delta DDC Programmer to take ownership of programming and delivery across complex, large‑scale BAS projects. This is a fully remote role with limited travel, suited to a senior‑level professional who enjoys building systems from the ground up and working with Delta Controls technologies at depth.
About the Organisation
Role Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Delta Controls DDC programmes for large‑scale BAS projects
- Build complete BAS architectures from scratch, including controller strategies, graphics, and system logic
- Programme and configure Delta systems using platforms such as enteliWEB and enteliVISION
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to translate sequences of operation into robust control solutions
- Support commissioning activities and resolve complex programming and system integration issues
- Review and optimise existing control strategies for performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Provide technical guidance to internal teams where required, acting as a subject‑matter expert in Delta BAS
- Produce clear, well‑structured documentation to support handover and long‑term system support
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years' experience programming Building Automation or BMS systems
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale BAS systems from initial build through to completion
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Delta Controls DDC programming
- Demonstrated experience with Delta platforms including enteliWEB and enteliVISION
- Solid understanding of BAS architectures, networking, and control strategies
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while contributing effectively to project teams
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a methodical, detail‑focused approach
Additional or Desirable Experience
- Experience supporting commissioning or system validation activities
- Exposure to multi‑site or enterprise‑level BAS deployments
- Familiarity with integration protocols such as BACnet or Modbus
- Experience working on complex commercial, institutional, or industrial facilities
