Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead tenant improvement (TI) and corporate interior projects in the Chicago area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fast-paced, high-finish commercial interior build-outs, with a focus on quality, safety, and schedule adherence. This role is critical in ensuring seamless execution of projects in occupied and unoccupied spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day field operations for TI and corporate interior construction projects.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and local building codes.
Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or issues.
Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance.
Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and design teams.
Manage logistics in active office environments, including noise, dust, and access control.
Maintain accurate daily reports, site logs, and safety documentation.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with a focus on tenant improvements and corporate interiors.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects or fast-track schedules.
Strong knowledge of interior systems including drywall, millwork, MEP coordination, and finishes.
Experience working in occupied spaces and managing client expectations.
Proficiency in construction management tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam).
OSHA 30 certification required.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Class A office buildings and high-end interior finishes.
Familiarity with Chicago building codes and permitting processes.
LEED or WELL Building experience is a plus.
