International BD Manager - HydroPower & Private Market
Our client is hiring a Global Business Development Manager to lead global business development initiatives within the hydropower and industrial services sector. In this role, you will identify high-impact growth opportunities, build long-term partnerships, and drive strategic expansion across international markets.
While you will be developing current business in this role, the focus will be more so getting new business for the company. Will need to work with regional sales leaders, product managers, and engineering teams to align strategies as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop long-term strategic partnerships with key accounts and stakeholders across global markets.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate-level engagements with OEMs, utilities, and industrial service providers.
- Design and implement global business development strategies with clear objectives, milestones, and value propositions.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams and global partners to ensure consistent execution of strategic initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams-sales, marketing, engineering, product management, and executive leadership-to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Support the negotiation and implementation of long-term agreements, including pricing, technical support, and service delivery.
- Monitor global trends in hydropower, industrial automation, and energy services to inform strategy and innovation.
- Represent the company at international trade shows, customer meetings, and strategic forums.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in strategic business development, account management, or global customer engagement within the hydropower, energy, or industrial services sectors.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex relationships across multinational organisations and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience in negotiating and executing strategic agreements and multi-site contracts.
- Strong understanding of global industrial markets, renewable energy technologies, and OEM business models.
- Excellent communication skills, with leadership qualities
