Land Development PM
Overview:
We're seeking a dynamic Project Manager to oversee land development projects across the Phoenix metro area. This role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of residential, commercial, and industrial site development projects. The ideal candidate brings technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of local development processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage all phases of land development projects, from feasibility studies through final construction.
- Supervise the creation of site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, and utility designs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, municipalities, and consultants.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and design staff.
- Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct field reviews and provide construction phase support.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and change orders.
- Support business development efforts and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Active PE license (Arizona preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in land/site development engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of Phoenix-area zoning, permitting, and development regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
