About the Role:
LVI Associates are seeking a seasoned and strategic Managing Director to lead our clients Business Valuation and Expert Witness practice in Dallas. This is a senior leadership opportunity to drive growth, shape service delivery, and provide expert insights in high-stakes litigation and arbitration matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the valuation and expert witness practice across Texas and nationally.
  • Provide expert testimony in litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings, including deposition and trial appearances.
  • Deliver independent valuations for shareholder disputes, M&A transactions, financial reporting, tax matters, and commercial litigation.
  • Oversee complex financial analyses, damages quantification, and economic modeling.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with law firms, corporate counsel, private equity firms, and regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients to prepare expert reports and rebuttals.
  • Review and sign off on valuation reports, expert opinions, and litigation support deliverables.
  • Mentor and manage a team of valuation professionals, analysts, and forensic accountants.
  • Drive business development initiatives, including thought leadership, networking, and client engagement.
  • Contribute to firm-wide strategic planning and cross-practice collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in business valuation, forensic accounting, or litigation consulting.
  • Proven track record of serving as an expert witness in commercial disputes, with courtroom and deposition experience.
  • Proven track record of generating Revenue of $1million+.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, ASA, ABV, CFE, or equivalent.
  • Deep technical expertise in valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and damages analysis.
  • Strong understanding of legal processes, evidentiary standards, and litigation strategy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including expert report writing and testimony delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and client relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth, innovation, and excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
