Our Client is seeking a Managing Principal to lead and grow their Southern California remediation operations, overseeing three offices including their Long Beach location.
About the Role
As Managing Principal, you will serve as the strategic and operational leader for our multi-media remediation practice across Southern California. This is a high-impact role that combines technical leadership with business development and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage remediation operations across three Southern California offices
- Drive strategic planning, budgeting, and business development initiatives
- Oversee hiring, staffing, and professional development of technical teams
- Serve as the senior technical expert on complex remediation projects
- Ensure operational excellence, client satisfaction, and regulatory compliance
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience in environmental consulting with a strong focus on multi-media remediation
- Proven leadership in managing large teams and taking on multi-office operations
- Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
- Deep technical expertise in site investigation, remediation design, and regulatory strategy
- Strong financial and operational management skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field
- Professional registration (PE, PG, or equivalent) preferred
