Role Overview

The company is seeking a Project Manager to support a major commercial project in downtown Austin, with a focus on plumbing and mechanical systems. This is an on‑site role and an immediate need due to project ramp‑up. The PM will oversee daily operations, coordinate with field teams, and serve as the primary contact for clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and buyout for large mechanical/plumbing scopes.
  • Lead on‑site coordination with field leadership and project partners.
  • Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with the client and GC.
  • Utilize project management platforms such as Autodesk ACC (similar system experience acceptable).

Required Experience

  • 5+ years as a Project Manager for a mechanical contractor.
  • Background managing large mechanical projects (not small multi‑project cycles).
  • Strong understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems for commercial builds.
  • Comfortable working onsite and leading fast‑paced, high‑complexity projects.
  • Union contractor experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Project Manager: approximately $100k-$130k
  • Senior PM potential: $150k+
  • Vehicle allowance (approx. $700/month)
  • Full medical, dental, vision, 401(k)
  • Bonus eligible
