Project Manager - MEPS Division
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
A well-established, full-service engineering firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its MEPS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural) division. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional with a passion for excellence and a desire to grow within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of diverse consulting engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, internal leadership, and project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with discipline leads and team members to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for future work.
- Uphold and implement quality assurance and control standards in line with industry best practices.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, including milestone tracking, financial summaries, and strategic recommendations.
- Monitor project billing forecasts and approve monthly invoicing.
- Develop fee proposals, negotiate project scope and fees, and review contractual agreements.
- Work with leadership to ensure appropriate staffing and resource allocation for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting engineering or architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
- Proven leadership skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical background in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is a plus.
