Mid-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer - Atlanta, Georgia

Are you a seasoned engineering professional passionate about delivering impactful water infrastructure projects? We're seeking a Mid-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join a growing team focused on technical excellence, proactive project delivery, and leadership across complex municipal water and wastewater initiatives in the Atlanta, Georgia region.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on projects of differing sizes.
  • Perform engineering work in process design for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations, including engineering services and construction management.
  • Work on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, specifications, and cost estimates for diverse projects.
  • Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; handle data entry and analysis; and support projects through the construction phase.
  • Assist Project Managers in supervising and coordinating the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and other team members for specific assignments.
  • Provide engineering services during construction.
  • Participate in field activities such as pilot testing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
  • 6 to 12 years of directly relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Georgia.
  • Strong application of engineering principles, including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with clients and project teams.
