A well‑established heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee infrastructure and site development projects in the Baltimore area. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in sitework, underground utilities, and paving.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage heavy civil projects from preconstruction through completion
- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams
- Track costs, change orders, and overall project performance
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and contract requirements
- Interface with clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, APM, or Superintendent in heavy civil construction
- Strong background in sitework, grading, utilities, and/or asphalt paving
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with project tracking and construction management tools
