About the Role
As a Project Manager, you'll lead diverse structural engineering projects across sectors such as K-12 education, healthcare, sports and entertainment (stadiums, arenas, parking structures), industrial. You'll leverage your technical experience to manage projects, with support from technical leads and contributing to the firm's continued expansion.
This position is open to candidates at multiple levels:
- 2-4 years of structural experience, ideally transitioning from technical roles or having served as APMs on larger projects.
- 4-8 years of experience, with strong project delivery skills.
- 10+ years of experience, proven ability to find and manage work, bring in clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural engineering projects from concept through completion.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
- Collaborate with technical leads who oversee staff.
- Contribute to business development and client acquisition (especially at Senior level).
- Bring cross-disciplinary thinking and new ideas to the team.
Qualifications
- 2-10+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- PE license preferred; candidates must be licensed, on track to obtain licensure, or able to pursue licensure.
- Experience in K-12, healthcare, industrial, or entertainment sectors is a plus but not required.
- No direct reports; staff are managed by technical leads.
