The Role
- Lead preconstruction efforts across a range of facade and exterior envelope projects
- Oversee estimating activities, from takeoffs through final proposal submission
- Collaborate closely with operations, leadership, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Build, refine, and scale preconstruction processes and systems
- Support growth of the estimating team (with the potential to build out and manage a team)
- Leverage industry relationships to drive opportunities and win work
What We're Looking For
- Background in exterior restoration or new construction
- Experience in estimating and/or preconstruction leadership
- Ability to operate at a high level while also being hands-on when needed
- Strong industry knowledge across one or more scopes such as:
- EIFS / Stucco
- Drywall
- Metal panels
- Glazing / curtain wall
- General building envelope systems
- Proven ability to build relationships, win work, and "get things done"
- Experience managing or growing an estimating/preconstruction function is highly desirable
Ideal Backgrounds
- Current Preconstruction Manager or Assistant Precon Manager with a GC
- Senior Estimator ready to step into leadership
- Estimator from a specialty subcontractor with strong market relationships
